Our passion
The word passion comes from the Latin word “passio”, that in turn comes from the verb “pati” which meant to bear, to suffer while in Classic Latin meant “agitation of soul”… This word was used in literature by some great authors such as Dante and Iacopone da Todi and it has been transmitted through time with many shades of meaning. “Passion” is the word we use to name some uncontrollable feelings such as love, hate or jealousy: emotions that drive to definitive actions, which can’t be changed. Beside feelings, interests are also considered as passions. This uncontrollable strength becomes an addiction and then when it loses its uncontrollability, “passion” gets a positive meaning. To do something with passion means doing it naturally, with great devotion, care and love. |
